Pakistan all-rounder Aamer Jamal on Wednesday expressed optimism about returning to the field.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Jamal said: "Unfortunately, my time at Warwickshire County Cricket Club did not go as planned due to an injury I sustained during the second championship game.".
He said: "Following medical advice, I underwent MRI scans and was diagnosed with a black spasm. I then started the process of rehabilitation and recovery with the medical staff.".
"My rehab has just finished, and I am fully fit to return to the field and resume playing cricket, Alhamdulilah," said Jamal.

He added: "However, it is too late for me to continue with the county as an overseas player, as they have already replaced me. I wish WCCC the best of luck and them for the opportunity.".
