Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon accused on Thursday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder of supporting terrorists.
Expressing his thoughts, Memon stated, "The PTI has officially funded terrorists. The APS attack took place during the regime of PTI." He highlighted that the rallies held by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were attacked during the election campaign, while PTI rallies remained unscathed.
Memon took a swipe at the PTI, stating, “The PTI is not sincere for the betterment of the country.”
PPP demands annulment of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s death sentence
Separately, few days back, the PPP called for the annulment of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s death sentence.
Expressing her thoughts, PPP senior leader Shazia Marri, while welcoming the Supreme Court's decision on the presidential reference, emphasised that it took 40 years to seek justice for Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
"The PPP leadership and the party workers have waited to get justice. The PPP workers have not attacked the military installation or the courts, but taken the pain themselves," she said.
Marri said, "Those who are not in favour of accepting the verdict are against democracy.".
