The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday appointed Australia's Tony Hemming as the chief pitch curator.
According to details, Hemming will make his way to Lahore on Wednesday to take up the new responsibility. Hemming will prepare the pitches for the Bangladesh and England series.
He will also look after the preparations of the pitches during the forthcoming Champions Trophy, slated to happen in the country in February.
Hemming has bagged more than 40 years of experience in preparing the pitches. He had served for different countries in this regard.
He had also worked as the head curator for the ICC from 2007 and 2017.
