The Punjab Home Department has announced a detailed plan regarding the suspension of mobile services during the 9th and 10th of Muharram to ensure law and order and the safety of citizens.
Contrary to previous years, mobile services will not be completely suspended in any city of Punjab, the government has announced.
Mobile service will not be entirely stopped in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Khushab, Sialkot, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal. It has been recommended to suspend mobile services only in areas along the routes of processions and majalis.
