A severe fire broke out in the Wesh market adjacent to the Pak-Afghan border at Friendship Gate Chaman. In response, the government of Pakistan and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) took immediate action to assist in controlling the blaze and preventing its spread to nearby populated areas.
FC Balochistan coordinated efforts to dispatch all available fire brigade vehicles from Chaman to Afghanistan. The firefighting operation is ongoing as teams work to bring the fire under control.
This cross-border assistance demonstrates Pakistan's commitment to being a supportive neighbor during emergencies.
