Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salman Akram Raja confirmed that the party decided to stage protest outside the General Headquarters (GHQ).
Speaking on Samaa TV’s program ‘Nadeem Malik Live,’ he revealed that the decision was made during PTI party meeting.
The PTI leader said that it was decided in the meeting that a protest will be held outside the General their offices if Rangers or intelligence agency officials are found to be involved in the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan.
He emphasized that PTI views peaceful protest as a fundamental right, particularly if any organization exceeds its authority.
Earlier today, Raja also addressed the media outside Adiala Jail, where Imran Khan is currently held. He reiterated that PTI founder has not confessed to any involvement in the events of May 9, and asserted that the measures taken against PTI will ultimately prove ineffective.
