The accused claimed that the police were pressuring him to confess. The court has ordered his presentation before the Anti-Terrorism Court for remand.

According to legal proceedings, Shiraz was set to record his statement under Section 164.
The judicial magistrate granted the accused an hour to reconsider his decision before proceeding with the confession.
“This is a matter of life and death; take your time to think," the magistrate advised the accused.
