As the holy month of Ramadan begins, Lahore residents have been provided a structured gas supply schedule, while Karachi faces severe shortages, leaving many struggling during Sehri.
The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a new gas supply schedule for Lahore during Ramadan. According to the schedule, gas will be available from 2:30 AM to 8:00 AM for Sehri and from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM for Iftari.
SNGPL has formed 100 monitoring committees, with General Manager Lahore East Rashid Inayat stating that teams will work 24/7 to maintain gas flow during the holy month.
Meanwhile, Karachiites faced severe difficulties as the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) failed to provide gas during the first Sehri of Ramadan.
Many residents, particularly in the Old City area, complained about a complete lack of gas supply, forcing them to rely on LPG cylinders instead.
