A fierce gun battle erupted on Tuesday between security forces and terrorists in the Hoshab district of Balochistan, resulting in the death of one terrorist and injuries to two others.
According to a statement from the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the area.
The ensuing clash left notorious terrorist Ali Jan dead and two of his accomplices wounded.
The slain terrorist was reportedly involved in a series of heinous crimes, including the kidnapping and murder of innocent civilians in the region.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from killed terrorist, who remained actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area including kidnapping and target killing of innocent civilians.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area.
The ISPR emphasized the unwavering commitment of Pakistan's armed forces to upholding peace and stability in Balochistan and thwarting the nefarious designs of those who seek to undermine the country's progress.
