Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced a Rs100 million reward for Paris Olympics men’s javelin throw gold medalist Arshad Nadeem.
“We are grateful to Arshad Nadeem on behalf of the nation for giving him this prize. He announced the construction of Arshad Nadeem Sports City in Mian Channu. We know the details in this regard from the representative Sama Abbas Naqvi
She said Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal on the eve of Independence and gave a gift to the nation.
“Making a new record in the Olympics is proof of Arshad Nadeem's hard work, dedication, and national spirit,” she said. “May Allah bless every son and daughter who raises the flag of Pakistan in the world,” Punjab CM said.
