All private and government educational institutions in Hyderabad district will remain closed tomorrow, August 29, as heavy monsoon rains continue to lash the region.
The decision was announced by Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad in response to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the holiday is necessary to ensure the safety of students and staff amid the ongoing rains.
A formal notification has been issued to all educational institutions within the district, making it clear that the closure applies solely to Hyderabad.
The monsoon rains have already caused significant disruption in the region. Several areas, including Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Chambar, Mehrabpur, and Faridabad, have experienced varying degrees of rainfall, ranging from light showers to heavy downpours.
Tragically, the roof of a house in one of these areas collapsed due to the rain, resulting in the death of a child.
