Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has vowed that his party is the only one capable of alleviating the burden of high electricity bills on the people, and it will save the people from heavy electricity bills.
Addressing a party meeting in Lahore, Sharif criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for exacerbating economic difficulties through its policies, which he claims have led to soaring electricity costs and inflation. "The PML-N is the only party in the country that knows how to provide relief to the people in the most difficult situations. Whatever has to be done for the strengthening of the economy will be done."
Sharif emphasized that the PML-N is committed to taking decisive actions to stabilize the economy and reduce electricity expenses. "Our first priority is to stabilize the economy. Domestic consumers have been given relief, and now we are looking for ways to provide relief to industrial consumers," Sharif stated. He assured that the party would continue its efforts to offer relief in the face of economic challenges.
