The Met Department has predicted that most parts of the country will experience hot and dry weather, while isolated areas, including Islamabad and parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, may see rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms.
In Islamabad and its surrounding areas, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with the possibility of rain and thunder at a few places, providing some relief from the heat.
Sindh will continue to experience hot and dry weather across most districts, with no major rain forecast for the province.
Similarly, in Punjab, the weather is predicted to remain hot and dry in most districts. However, rain with thunderstorms is expected in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Sargodha, which may help ease the high temperatures in these areas.
The Met Office also forecasts gusty winds and thundershowers in parts of northeast Punjab, the Potohar region, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan. These areas are likely to experience intermittent rain, providing brief respite from the ongoing heat.
Rain is also expected in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Hafizabad.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, districts such as Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Mardan, and Peshawar are expected to receive rain, along with strong winds and thundershowers. Additionally, there is a forecast of rain and thunderstorms in Kurram, Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan.
Meanwhile, Balochistan will remain largely dry, with hot weather continuing across most districts.
For Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will likely stay partly cloudy, with strong winds and thundershowers at some locations.
