Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday warned against challenging the writ of the state.
Expressing her thoughts following the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had violated the NOC in line with the power show in Sangjani. "It does not matter that the PTI stages a rally or causes uproar, the party [PTI] will have to bear the brunt."
She took a dig at the PTI, saying, "It has been said that the new law has been established to protect the thieves. It is the criminal involved behind the May 9 vandalism who filed the first application under the new law."
"Those who hurl allegations at others themselves want to escape by getting the NRO," she said.

–PTI founder seeks NRO for himself, says Ahsan Iqbal –
Meanwhile, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Sunday that the PTI founder was looking to seek NRO for himself.
Expressing her thoughts, Iqbal schooled the PTI founder, saying, “The PTI founder is the one who pleaded the Congress by visiting the United States. Other times, he [the PTI founder] gives his opinions at the different forums in Pakistan.”
“The PTI founder somehow wants NRO for his leadership. He [the PTI founder] showed no mercy in asking for the receipts from others. But now, when the turn of getting the receipts came, the PTI founder is causing uproar,” Iqbal said.
He maintained: “Now the PTI founder is talking about the system. When he made bogus cases against us, we faced all of them at the courts. We proved our innocence, and the courts had quashed all the cases against us.”
“The PTI founder is facing serious charges against him. He had been involved in a £190 million corruption case,” Iqbal stated.
The minister was of the view that the PTI founder was given the foreign funding to spread unrest in the country.
“The purpose of foreign funding to the PTI founder was to harm the country’s economy,” he said.
"No, there is no doubt about that on whose orders the PTI founder launched the campaign against the state institutions,” Iqbal added.
