The Met Department has forecast that the weather is likely to remain hot and dry across most parts of the country today, including the capital city of Islamabad and its surrounding areas.
Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan are also expected to experience hot and dry conditions.
However, the northern regions of the country, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan, may see some relief with light rain expected in these areas. Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are anticipated to be partly cloudy, with chances of light rain as well.
In Karachi, the weather has been a mix of sun and clouds, with some respite from the heat due to the cooling effect of the sea breeze. The weather remains cloudy and pleasant, with no significant chance of rain.
Winds are blowing from the west at a speed of 11 nautical miles, helping to keep temperatures relatively mild.
The maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to range between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature recorded earlier today was 27.5 degrees Celsius. The current temperature stands at 28 degrees Celsius. The Met Department has also noted the possibility of light drizzle at one or two locations during the night hours.
