England captain Ben Stokes will spearhead his 17-member squad in their upcoming assignment against the "nervous" Shan Masood-led side in the three match Test series.
According to details, England had announced their team as they will touchdown Pakistan on a high after beating the West Indies and Sri Lanka. In their last encounter against Pakistan in the red-ball format, England had trounced the latter by 3-0 in 2022.
Pakistan, on the other hand, is struggling to find a win both at home and away. After being dismantled by Bangladesh 2-0, Pakistan are under a lot of pressure.
For England, the young bowling department under the supervision of Chris Woakes and skipper Stokes will look to put the Pakistan batters to the test after the retirement of the English bowling icon, James Anderson.
England will lock horns against Pakistan in the forthcoming series in next month.
