Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi said on Saturday that all the teams will participate in the forthcoming Champions Trophy, slated to happen in February next year.
Expressing his thoughts, Naqvi spoke about the appointment of BCCI Secretary Jay Shah as the International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman. "We remain in contact with Jay Shah. We have no worry with the PCB chief," he said.
He made it clear that the forthcoming series against England will be held in Pakistan, and venues will be Multan and Rawalpindi.
"We will try to complete the construction work at the Gaddafi Stadium till December 31. The front building of the Gaddafi Stadium will be made up of steel," he said.
Speaking about the upgrade of the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Naqvi said: "The Pindi Cricket Stadium will not be upgraded as of now. It is a waste of money to invest in the Pindi Cricket Stadium right now."
He vowed that the new stadium in Islamabad will be similar to the cricket stadium in Dubai.
"We will also construct an international stadium in Abbottabad as well," he said.
