The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a detailed decision on the restoration of nine bail applications of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
The court had on Tuesday restored the bail applications of Imran Khan in nine cases, including May 9 violence, Toshakhana forgery and attempted murder.
According to the verdict, the decision of the trial court to reject the bail petitions was set aside. The court also restored Imran Khan’s exemption from appearance.
The verdict said that Imran Khan did not deliberately remain absent from the court. Despite the cancellation of bail, the state did not arrest the former prime minister in these cases, it added.

The court further remarked that the trial court should decide on the bail applications, considering this point.
A two-member bench headed by IHC Chief Justice Aamir Farooq issued the six-page detailed decision.
The district and sessions court rejected the bail applications in six cases, and the anti-terrorism court in three over non-compliance.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan had challenged the decision of the trial court in the nine cases in the Islamabad High Court.
