Former Pakistan wicketkeeper batter Kamran Akmal on Wednesday dubbed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as "the joke."
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV, Akmal said: "Nobody will talk on Iftikhar Ahmed's statement about the middle-order batter. If the same thing had been done by Umar Akmal, then it would have been taken against him [Umar Akmal].
– Malik on four-day tournament –
Meanwhile, in connection with the forthcoming Champions One-Day Cup, Stallions mentor Shoaib Malik said: "The event had already been planned, and it was difficult to revise the schedule. Though, it would have been better if the four-day tournament happened ahead of the upcoming red-ball series against England."
– Bounce for bowlers –
On the other side, expressing his thoughts, Wolves mentor Misbahul Haq said: "There is a need to check out the standard of the pitches. It is not only important to compile 300 runs per inning, but also it will be important to see that the bowlers get some bounce as well."
– Evaluating Pakistan Cricket
Lions mentor Waqar Younis had emphasized the need for evaluating Pakistan cricket and compared it with the rest of the world.
