The gold prices in Pakistan continue to climb up to new heights on Saturday, driven by an increase in international rates.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola shot up by another Rs400, reaching Rs266,300 in the local market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold of 24 karats also registered a rise, increasing by Rs343 to settle at Rs228,309.

The increase in local prices mirrors global trends. In the international market, the price of gold rose to $2,577 per ounce, marking a $11 drop during the trading day, as per the APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950.
