Commuters in Lahore are facing delays and frustration on Wednesday after a Metro bus broke down at the Kamahan metro station.
The bus came to a standstill right in the middle of the track, forcing the suspension of metro service in both directions on one of the city’s busiest routes.
As a result, passengers on board were dropped off on the track itself, creating a chaotic situation. Metro buses travelling from Gajjumta and Shahdara were stopped at Kamahan station, leaving hundreds stranded. As a result, commuters travelling to schools, colleges, and offices faced severe frustration early morning.
Despite the massive inconvenience, no immediate action has been taken by the Metro Bus administration to resolve the issue, leaving passengers frustrated and looking for alternative transport options. The breakdown is reportedly due to a technical failure, but further details from officials remain awaited.
