Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that killed two Chinese engineers and injured another near Karachi Airport.
In a statement from the Foreign Office, the spokesperson expressed deep sorrow over the brutal attack and extended condolences to the families of the victims, while praying for the recovery of the injured.
The Foreign Office emphasized that the act of terrorism is not just an assault on Pakistan but also on the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.
The spokesperson vowed to bring all responsible, including the perpetrators from the Majeed Brigade, to justice, reaffirming that Pakistan's security and law enforcement agencies will not spare the planners or facilitators of this cowardly attack.
In close contact with the Chinese Embassy, the spokesperson highlighted that Pakistan and China are long-standing allies and "iron brothers," bound by mutual respect and cooperation.
The spokesperson reassured that Pakistan remains committed to ensuring the safety of Chinese nationals in the country and, together with China, will continue efforts to combat terrorism.
