PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif Friday said the PMLN legal team has cleared former premier minister Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan on October 21.
He reiterated his elder brother would come back and face the law and Constitution. In a media talk in Lahore Shehbaz said: “As it is in your knowledge that Nawaz Sharif will, God willing, return on Oct 21. I want to respectfully say that you shouldn’t ask if he is coming or not, this is confirmed now.”
The statement came at a time when the fresh medical report of Nawaz was submitted to the Lahore High Court.
Shehbaz Sharif said: “If our quaid told us to save our politics, I would have resigned, but he told us to take up the challenge and save the country instead.”
Former chief minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said Nawaz Sharif will unveil his plan to change the country’s future at Minar-e-Pakistan on Oct 21.
What cases Nawaz has to face upon his return?
Nawaz is in London in a self-imposed exile since 2019. He left for London in the middle of his 7-year jail term on medical grounds.
Nawaz was declared a proclaimed offender in the Al Azizia and Avenfield graft cases for his continuous absence from proceedings.
