Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that the Indian cricket team should visit Pakistan to play the forthcoming Champions Trophy, slated to happen earlier next year.
According to details, in his interaction with a delegation of Indian journalists, the three-time prime minister said: “Many problems will be addressed if the ties between Pakistan and India improve.”
He said: “The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) can help foster the ties between Pakistan and India."
“It would have been great if Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Pakistan. The past had been quite tense; now is the time to move forward,” he stated.
On the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was also present.
