Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has left for the United States to attend the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank annual meetings.
According to details surfaced in the wee hours of Monday, Aurangzeb is slated to meet with the IMF and World Bank's top-level officials. The finance minister will also hold meetings with the counterparts of China, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey.
Aurangzeb will also hold meetings with the officials of the international credit rating agencies and commercial banks.
During his visit to the US, Aurangzeb is also expected to the investment forums and seminars.
The finance minister will also hold meetings with the media representatives of the United States.
