Utilising his vast experience, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza Butt had made the headlines first by notching up a country’s first T20I century and that too in 33 balls, powering his side to the highest 344-run total against Gambia in the history of the T20I during the 12th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Africa Qualifies Group B in Nairobi on Wednesday.
Chasing a target of 345 runs, Gambia were skittled out for merely 54 inside 15 overs. This gave Zimbabwe a 290-run victory, which is also the highest by margin in the T20I.
Raza not only notched up the fiery century but had hammered 15 sixes in an innings, which is the third-highest in T20I.
