Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday extended Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
Addressing a ceremony, organized in honor of Palestinian medical students studying in Pakistan, PM Shehbaz said, "We welcome you with open arms, and our homes and educational institutions are at your service. Pakistan is as much your home as it is mine."
He strongly condemned Israel's actions, declaring, "Israel has displayed extreme brutality, killing 43,000 Palestinians, yet the international community has failed to play its role in achieving a ceasefire in Gaza."
"Israeli forces are bombing schools, hospitals, and shelters. They have discarded the recommendations of the United Nations and the international community. The Security Council and the International Court of Justice remain powerless in front of Israel," he added.
The premier assured the Palestinian students of full support, pledging, "Pakistan stands firmly with our Palestinian and Lebanese brothers, and we will continue to provide all necessary facilities to our Palestinian students."
