Adviser to Prime Minister (PML-N) stalwart Rana Sanaullah said on Thursday that he was not in favor of cases against Bushra Bibi and the sisters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder.
Expressing his thoughts to the foreign media outlet, Sanaullah said: “It is normal for the political leaders to face cases. But I am against involving women in the cases.”
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart lavished his praise on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, saying, “Maulana Fazlur Rehman has played a substantial role in line with the 26th constitutional amendment. The PTI had agreed on the draft of the constitutional amendment proposed by the JUI-F.
“The PTI has remained against the approval of the 26th constitutional amendment,” he stated.
Speaking about Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Sanaullah said: “The way of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has stopped, but the PTI has interfered more in this regard.”
He maintained: “Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is a competent judge. But the PTI had resorted to propaganda against him.”
“Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will not spearhead the constitutional bench,” Sanaullah added.
