According to the latest reports, the authorities have successfully recovered over Rs. 12.6 billion from power thieves across Pakistan. Additionally, more than 86,326 individuals involved in electricity theft have been apprehended during the crackdown.
Between October 13th and October 26th, the relevant agencies were able to recover over Rs. 126.6 million from power thieves in areas such as Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta, and other regions. During this period, 308 individuals were arrested for their involvement in electricity theft.
The government and the responsible authorities remain committed to eradicating electricity theft completely from the country.
