Pakistan are eying a minus-India formula for the forthcoming Champions Trophy as India have continued to show stubbornness about not travelling to the country for the mega event.
Sources divulged on Sunday that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will propose the plan of subtracting India from the Champions Trophy in front of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
However, the key personalities from the government can invite India to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy.
The final decision will be made by the ICC in this regard.
Meanwhile, it had been reported that the ICC had informed the PCB that the Indians were not willing to travel to Pakistan for the mega event.
The PCB had also informed the incumbent government about India’s decision of not traveling to Pakistan.
It is expected that the Pakistani government will take strict action against India’s decision of not visiting Pakistan.
“Unless the ties with India get normalized, Pakistan will not play against them in any tournament," said the sources.
