Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday that he had no idea about the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’ s protest.
Expressing his thoughts, Rehman said, “The government has focused on staging the politics. It [the government] has not focused on maintaining the law and order, which is wrong.”
“The bills are being passed against the constitution in line with the 26th constitutional amendment,” Rehman said.
“Instead of ensuring the protection of the citizens, the government is looking to protect itself,” he stated.
“Such laws are being introduced, which are not in line with the human rights.”
He lamented the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
