Addressing a press conference in Rawalpindi, Chohan asserted: ‘’Hammad Azhar has very much resorted to the tactics of hooliganism. People like him are using Islam to save their leader.’’

‘’I am a citizen of Pakistan. For me, there is nothing beyond this country’’. He praised Sadaqat Abbasi for leaving the PTI.

– 'Grandiose' IPP –
Few days back, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) registered on Thursday the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
The electoral watchdog had issued a notification of the IPP’s registration.
On the occasion, IPP Spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan said: ‘’On the ballot paper, the IPP’s name and eagle’s symbol will be published’’.
‘’It is a matter of great delight that the IPP has been registered by the electoral watchdog. The dedication and hard work of IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan and patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen have reaped benefits for the party,’’ Awan said.
She said that the party will now join the masses in a legal capacity, adding that the public campaign will also speed up with the completion of the registration process.
‘’It is a matter of immense happiness and joy that the IPP has been registered on the occasion of the birthday of Abdul Aleem Khan,’’ she maintained.
