The white-ball series between Pakistan Shaheens and Sri Lanka A ended due to the protests staged by the embattled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Pakistan.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, both the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) unanimously decided to end the series. There were two ODI series remaining in the series in Rawalpindi.
The new schedule for the remaining matches will be decided later.
Sources divulged that the PCB is prioritising the security situation.
