The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was not ready to accept the hybrid model at all for the upcoming Champions Trophy, originally slated to happen in Pakistan, next year in February.
According to details surfaced on Friday, the PCB had briefed the meeting in line with its opinion. The PCB had shown no flexibility on its narrative in connection with the hybrid model for the mega-event.
All the board members came up with a few proposals during today’s meeting to address the Champions Trophy stalemate.
According to details, the key meeting of the ICC was held. At the outset of the huddle, the PCB continued to stay on its narrative in line with the hybrid model.

Sources divulged that the ICC was looking to find the “justified” solution for the highly-anticipated tournament.
The acceptable formula for the ICC is expected to be rolled out tomorrow.
