The selling rate also saw a slight increase, standing at Rs74.60 on the fourth day of the new business week.

As of February 6, the Riyal is being traded at Rs74.39 in the open market. Therefore, 1,000 Saudi Riyals is equivalent to Rs74,390 in Pakistani currency.
Saudi Arabia remains the top source of remittances for Pakistan. In December 2024, Pakistani expatriates in the kingdom remitted the highest amount, totaling $770.6 million, reflecting a 6% increase from the previous month and a 33% rise compared to the same month in 2023.
