South African cricket team has arrived in Lahore to participate in the Champions Trophy and the Tri-Nation Series. The team traveled from Johannesburg via Dubai and reached Lahore under tight security.
They were escorted to a private hotel, where they will rest today before beginning their training session tomorrow afternoon.
South Africa will play their first match of the Tri-Nation Series against New Zealand on February 10.
Earlier, the New Zealand team had also arrived in Lahore for the tournament. The squad, which traveled via a private airline from Dubai to Allama Iqbal International Airport, includes key players such as Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Tom Latham, and Glenn Phillips.
Both teams are set to compete in the much-anticipated cricket event in Pakistan.
