The federal government has appointed Shahab Ali Shah as the new Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to replace the current officeholder.
According to the official notification, Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry has been transferred to Balochistan, while Shahab Ali Shah, a Grade-21 officer, will now take over the position in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Additionally, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry has been reassigned as Secretary of the Board of Investment (BOI), replacing Rahim Hayat Qureshi, who has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
These key transfers and appointments mark a significant administrative reshuffle at the federal level.
