Canadian Sikh citizen Devinder Singh visited the Government Boys City School in Bahawalnagar, where his late father, Huzoor Singh, was once a student.
During the visit, the school administration presented an honorary certificate to honor Huzoor Singh’s legacy.
According to records, Huzoor Singh completed his matriculation from the institution in 1943 when it was known as State High School under the Bahawalpur State.
Devinder Singh’s wife, Surinder Kaur, also accompanied him on this sentimental journey. The school administration warmly welcomed the couple and acknowledged the family's historical connection with the institution.
The visit symbolized a deep bond with Bahawalnagar’s rich educational and cultural heritage, highlighting how memories and legacies continue to transcend generations.
