Security forces conducted two separate intelligence-based operations in the areas of Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the elimination of 15 terrorists in total.

According to ISPR, an operation was carried out in the Hathala area of Dera Ismail Khan following reports of terrorist presence. During the intense exchange of fire, nine terrorists were killed, including the terrorist ringleader, Farman alias Saqib, Amanullah alias Turi, Saeed alias Liaqat, and Bilal.
These terrorists were involved in attacks on law enforcement agencies and civilians.
The second operation was conducted in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan, where security forces bravely engaged and killed six terrorists.
During the operation, four soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom.
The martyrs include Lieutenant Hassan Ashraf (21 years old, Lahore), Naib Subedar Muhammad Bilal (39 years old, Dera Ismail Khan), Sepoy Farhatullah (27 years old, Lakki Marwat), and Sepoy Himmat Khan (29 years old, Mohmand district).
According to ISPR, a clearance operation is ongoing in the area to locate any remaining terrorists.
The armed forces are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country, and the sacrifices of brave soldiers further strengthen this resolve.
