The Afghanistan cricket team arrived in Karachi on Saturday to take on New Zealand in the warm-up match ahead of the Champions Trophy, slated to happen from February 19.
According to details, Afghanistan and New Zealand will lock horns tomorrow in the warm-up after the Hashmatullah Shahidi-led team is done with their outing against the Pakistan Shaheens at the revamped Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Afghanistan, who were geared up to mark their first appearance in the Champions Trophy, will kickstart their campaign against South Africa at the Karachi stadium on February 21.
Moreover, Afghanistan will kickstart their Champions Trophy campaign on a high after they thumped South Africa 2-1 in the ODI format in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently.
