Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi commended the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for its successful efforts in hosting the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme, "Zor Ka Jor", Afridi said: "Regardless of who the chairman is, he deserves praise and congratulations for his commitment."
Afridi maintained: "The PCB has worked hard in the past few days, and we continued to receive updates via social media." He expressed optimism, saying, "Things are looking good, and I pray that everything goes well."
Pakistan will lock horns against New Zealand in the tournament opener on February 19.
