Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra lavished his praise on the New Zealand cricket team for dismantling hosts Pakistan in the opening match of the Champions Trophy at the Karachi stadium on Wednesday.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chopra extolled the efforts of the Black Caps, saying, “Always the team to beat in the ICC events.”
“To be honest, they have the team to play the finals this Champions Trophy too.”
In another of his tweets, Chopra said: “How was the required run rate allowed to climb to nearly 10 an over with half the game left?”
