Former Indian cricketer Atul Satish Wassan rallied behind Pakistan national cricket team ahead of their high-octane clash against arch-rivals India in the fifth match of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai stadium on Saturday.
According to details, Wassan hoped that the Green Shirts will clinch the victory. Wassan said: "I want to see Pakistan emerging victorious to keep the joy of the tournament alive."
However, he admitted that Pakistan were facing mounting pressure ahead of the high-octane clash.
On the other side, Pakistan opener Imamul Haq, who replaced injured Fakhar Zaman, had already reached the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and started practice.
It was a do-or-die situation for the Green Shirts, but the hosts were braced for the must-win clash against India.
The Men in Green will have to perform well in all the departments.
Meanwhile, Indian players expressed their wish to face Pakistan in the final of the Champions Trophy.
