Naqvi also touched upon the ongoing debate regarding India’s reluctance to play in Pakistan, remarking, “I would like to ask India how they would have felt had they come and played in Lahore.”
When questioned about the Indian national anthem being played during the England-Australia match, the PCB chairman clarified that the matter falls under the jurisdiction of the International Cricket Council (ICC), which is overseeing the event.
The highly anticipated Pakistan-India encounter is set to take place today at Dubai Cricket Stadium, with cricket fans from both nations eagerly awaiting the high-voltage contest.
