A case has been registered against popular YouTuber Rajab Butt, TikToker Haider Shah, Man Dogar, and seven unidentified individuals on charges of issuing threats and intimidation.
The case was lodged on the complaint of social media artist Umar Fayyaz Butt, who accused Dogar of abusing and threatening him during a TikTok live session and later the group reached the residence with armed men and threatened him with dire consequences.
Allegations in FIR
According to the first information report (FIR), Umar Fayyaz Butt alleged that Man Dogar verbally abused and threatened him during a live session on TikTok. The following day, Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, and Haider Shah allegedly arrived at his house in multiple vehicles, accompanied by armed men, and issued further threats. The complainant stated that the accused publicly displayed Kalashnikovs and modern weapons, creating fear and intimidation.
The police have registered a case under sections related to criminal intimidation and threats and have launched an investigation.
Police statement
The police confirmed that they are looking into the allegations and will proceed as per the law. "A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Action will be taken based on the findings," a police spokesperson stated.
The complainant further mentioned in his statement that the accused threatened to teach him a lesson for his TikTok activities. He said the accused violated his dignity and there was a threat to his life.
Ongoing investigation
Authorities are gathering evidence, including digital records of the TikTok live session and potential CCTV footage from the location of the alleged incident. The police have assured that appropriate action will be taken against those found guilty.
