Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) senior leader Hafiz Hamdullah said on Wednesday that no democracy was prevailing in the country.
Expressing his thoughts, Hamdullah said: "The government and allied parties are following the Bajwa doctrine. The legislation in the parliament is taking place with the instructions of the non-political elites."
"The media has been contained through the PECA Act," he said.
He maintained: "The nation is showing no trust on the incumbent assemblies, federal and provincial governments."
"There is a need of hour to hold transparent snap polls to steer the country towards the political, economic stability," said Hamdullah.
