Adviser to the prime minister, Rana Sanaullah said on Thursday that the government had not stopped the opposition from holding the conference.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme “Nadeem Malik Live”, Sanaullah said: “We had dealt the opposition before, when it came to protest.”
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart reiterated the importance of holding the dialogues, Sanaullah said: “The matters will not be resolved if negotiations are not held.”
"It is not fair to hurl all the allegations at the government. I don't think the interior ministry has taken any step in line with the conference," said Sanaullah.

He lamented the performance of the Pakistan cricket team in the Champions Trophy 2025, saying, "Thanks, we got one point in the Champions Trophy."
