Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Friday that the country will steer towards the prosperity under the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leadership.
Addressing the workers’ convention via telephone in Sukkur, Tarar said: “Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif are still having a vote bank in Sukkur. We [PML-N] will not leave the people of Sindh in isolation.”
“The PML-N will pay great attention to uplift Sindh,” he said.
Taking a jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Tarar said: “The PTI founder-led government is responsible for harming the country that was witnessing the prosperity.”
“The economic situation is getting better, and inflation is decreasing in the country,” said Tarar.

Few weeks back, Tarar said that the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) Act had been designed to prevent the misuse of social media.
Expressing his thoughts in line with the PECA Act, he emphasised that authorities had decided to counter the damage caused by harmful content circulating on digital platforms.
“The PECA law was enacted to curb the wrongful use of social media,” Tarar asserted.
