Karachi residents should prepare for rising temperatures next week, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasting heat levels to reach between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius in the coming days.
Anjum Nazir Zaigham, focal person for the Meteorological Department, stated that the intensity of heat will increase in Karachi over the next few days. "The weather in the City of Quaid will remain hot next week, with temperatures potentially rising to 36-38°C," Zaigham said.
However, the weather pattern is expected to shift from March 12, bringing winds to the city, though Zaigham confirmed there is no possibility of rainfall during this period.
The Meteorological Department had previously predicted favorable weather conditions during the first ten days of Ramadan. However, officials warned of a potential heat wave during the final ten days of the holy month.
"Ramadan will begin with moderate weather, but temperatures could reach up to 40 degrees Celsius during the final days of the month," Zaigham had earlier stated.
Other regions across Sindh province are also expected to experience hot weather throughout Ramadan, with southern areas potentially seeing temperatures rise to 40 degrees Celsius during the final ten-day period of the holy month.
