The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has approved the bail pleas of seven PTI workers arrested in connection with the November 26 protest.
Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka heard the post-arrest bail petitions and granted bail to all seven accused. The court ordered their release upon submission of surety bonds worth Rs. 50,000 each.
Lawyers Sardar Masroof, Murtaza Toori, and Aamna Ali appeared in court on behalf of the accused. The PTI workers were booked in a case registered at Ramna police station.
Earlier, Civil Judge Ahmad Shehzad Gondal had rejected their bail petitions. The accused had then filed an appeal against the decision, which was approved by the sessions court.
